Terms of use

The agreement

These terms are between you and BERRISolver, based in Sweden. They apply when you download, install or use BERRISolver, this website or the license server. If you do not agree with them, do not use the app.

The license

A license key lets one person use BERRISolver on up to three computers at the same time. It is personal and non-transferable. You may not sell it, lend it or give it away. You can move it between your own computers with Deactivate this computer in Settings.

The app and its data files are licensed, not sold. Solves you produce with it are yours. We keep every right that these terms do not give you.

The trial

The trial gives you the full app free for 7 days, counted from the first time you activate it. It runs on up to three computers, like a full license. One trial per person and one per computer: a second trial key will not activate on a computer that has already had one.

When the trial ends the app locks until it has a valid key. Your saved solves stay on your computer and open again with a full license.

Purchases and subscriptions

A full license is a yearly subscription. It renews automatically at the end of each year at the price you subscribed at. If that price changes, we email you at least 30 days before the change applies, and you can cancel before it does.

You can cancel at any time on the account page or in the billing portal. The license then runs to the end of the paid year and stops, and nothing more is charged. A license runs on up to three computers at the same time.

If you want a refund on a first purchase, email us within 14 days of the payment. A refund ends the license.

Payments are processed by Stripe on behalf of BERRISolver. Stripe handles your card details; we never see them.

What you may not do

You may not:

• share your key or let someone else use your license
• reverse engineer, decompile or modify the app, or extract its data files
• work around, disable or tamper with the license check
• resell the app or its data files
• use the app in a way that breaks the law where you are, or the rules of the site you play on

Updates

The app checks for updates when it starts and installs them with a restart. Settings has Check for updates if you want to look sooner. Updates can add, change or remove features, and we may change the data files the app downloads.

Ending the license

We can revoke a key that breaks these terms, for example a shared key or a tampered app. A revoked key stops working on every computer. You can stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it. Your saves stay on your computer.

No warranty

BERRISolver is provided as is. We work to keep it correct and stable, but we do not promise that it is free of errors, that it fits a particular purpose, or that a solve is right for your game. Solver output is a model of the spot you built. You decide how to use it.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, our liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for the license. For the trial that is nothing. We are not liable for lost profits, lost data or results at the tables. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under Swedish law.

Governing law

Swedish law applies to these terms, and disputes are handled by the Swedish courts. If you are a consumer in the EU, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules where you live.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the current version. Using the app after a change means you accept the new terms.
