Version 0.1.3, released 2026-09-14. 64-bit Windows 10 or 11. What changed

First start

When you first open the app it asks for your license key, then downloads its data files. Both need an internet connection. After that you can solve offline. The app goes online now and then to confirm the license and to check for updates.

What the app does on your computer

BERRISolver solves on your own hardware. It does not read other programs, it does not watch your screen or your keyboard, and it does not touch your poker client.

It goes online for three things: to check the license, to download its data files, and to check for updates. It sends a problem report only when you send one, or if you turn on automatic crash reports in Settings.

To count computers against the three-computer limit it reads one value from Windows, your installation id, and keeps only a one-way hash of it.

Everything the license server records is listed on the privacy page.

If Windows shows a SmartScreen warning

Windows may warn that the installer is from an unknown publisher because it is new and not yet signed. Choose More info, then Run anyway.

Only do this for the installer you got from this page or from your trial email. Both link to the same GitHub release.

Check the file yourself

You can check that the file you downloaded is the one we published.

SHA-256 of the installer

To produce it yourself, open PowerShell in the folder you downloaded to and run this, then compare the two lines.

Get-FileHash .\BERRISolver-Setup-x64.exe -Algorithm SHA256
